This Privacy Policy explains how Can I Fly With This? ("we", "us", "the site") collects and uses information when you use caniflywiththis.com.

What we collect

• Search queries and region selection — the item you type and the region (US, EU, UK, LATAM) you choose. These power the look-up.
• Optional airline selection — stored only on your device via localStorage; never sent to us unless you use the AI lookup feature.
• Detailed lookup data (optional) — if you use the "Get a detailed answer" or Trip planner features, your query, region, and any photo you attach are sent to our backend for processing.
• IP address and request metadata — used by our backend solely for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Not stored long-term beyond 24 hours.
• Ad cookies and identifiers — set by Google AdSense if and when ads are served. See "Advertising" below.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not require accounts, logins, or any personally identifying information.
• We do not store the content of your detailed-lookup queries or photos beyond what's needed to answer (text queries are cached for up to 90 days for performance; photos are not cached).
• We do not sell any data.

Third-party services

We rely on the following providers to deliver this service:

• Cloudflare — hosts the website (Cloudflare Pages), provides the backend (Cloudflare Workers), and runs the invisible bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile).
• Replicate — third-party service that processes detailed-lookup queries.
• Anthropic — provides the underlying language model accessed via Replicate.
• Google AdSense — serves advertisements and may set cookies for ad targeting and frequency capping.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to remember:

• Your selected airline in Advanced settings, so it persists across visits.

Third-party advertising cookies may be set by Google AdSense once ads are enabled. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.

Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ad Settings or by visiting www.aboutads.info.
